OMG, delicious homestyle cooking. My friend had a giant burger on the biggest bun I've ever seen. I had chicken fried steak with perfectly crispy coating, and real mashed potatoes. I tried chocolate syrup on a buttermilk biscuit... I thought that was made up, not a real thing! We got our pie slices to go since we had no room after all that good food. Our server Sally was exceptionally thoughtful. She even helped us find someone who could replace my car battery on a Saturday afternoon!
This bacon cheese burger was awesome.. everything fresh.... big Ole basket of fries .. price was right.. and service was fast and friendly.. I had a 30 ft to truck and fit in the back.. depending on the time .. you might have a problem with an 18 wheeler.. but do as we do.. hit the air.. throw the 4 ways .. and go feed.. good food!
Coffee was best I've had in some time at a restaurant. Breakfast skillet was excellent. I will be definitely going back.
This diner is absolutely LOVELY. Where can I start? The inside is simple and cozy, the servers are punctual, sweet, and make you feel at home -- BUT MOST OF ALL! The food! Is! So! Good! My Philly cheese steak is the best I've EVER had.. AND THE FRIES!!! Perfect in every way. Mind the photo, it's half eaten. If I could eat here every day I would! P.S. - THE PRICES ARE AMAZING
Excellent place to get breakfast at. I'll have to come back and try lunch and dinner sometime! Service was great and friendly. Food tasted great, but could come out a littler slow for some.
Awesome "hole in the wall" restaurant. Hand painted race horse moral with other inside decor that revolves around the racing industry. May not be pleasing to the eye from the outside... However, when you go inside your viewpoint on the atmosphere will change. The food is neatly made and prepared and tastes just as good as it looks. The service was exceptional and there was only one server who held her job with pride, commitment, and a smile.

The moment you walk in, you feel right at home; the atmosphere is incredibly cozy and down-to-earth, and the place is kept spotless. The service was top-notch! The staff members were exceptionally friendly, our food arrived quickly, and they kept my coffee mug full the entire time which is always a huge plus in my book. The location is very convenient right on Cherokee Ave, making it easy to find with plenty of parking. It’s the perfect spot for a hearty breakfast or a family lunch while on the road. I’ll definitely be stopping by again next time I'm passing through!
Doesn’t look like much on the outside but this is where the locals go for great diner food. Service is great. The double bacon burger is enormous! My big teenage son loved it. Good onion rings and fries.
What can I say, I love my breakfast places, and this is one of the top. Came in while passing through, it was around 11am and there were a few people, I ordered the Chicken fried steak with grits .the steak was so delicious and the grits were southern good. We also had the cheese omelette, which was also good.
